Project Introduction:
The project implements a 30MW/30MWh electrochemical energy storage system specifically designed for photovoltaic power plants. This advanced system includes nine energy storage battery compartments, each with a capacity of 3.37MWh, paired with nine boost integrated machines rated at 3450kW. The entire setup connects directly to the 35kV busbar of the photovoltaic power station, ensuring seamless integration. We deliver the DC component of the energy storage system, optimized for a 1C charge-discharge rate solution.
Utilizing electrochemical energy storage technology, the system actively smooths the planned output from photovoltaic sources, enhancing the utilization of renewable energy generation. Moreover, it supports grid stability by participating in peak shaving and frequency control services. This technology allows for fast response and efficient energy management, which is critical for balancing the variability of solar power.
The project benefits from a targeted temperature control design for the containerized units, guaranteeing stable and reliable operation under varying environmental conditions. This electrochemical energy storage solution offers robust ancillary services, contributing significantly to grid management and renewable energy efficiency. The system’s 30MW power capacity combined with 30MWh energy storage capacity ensures optimal performance, meeting the demands of modern photovoltaic power plants.
