On September 1, SynVista’s energy storage project in Songbei District, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, successfully connected to the grid, demonstrating the company’s excellence in providing efficient, safe, and reliable energy storage solutions. This achievement marks a significant step toward promoting stable utilization of local new energy.

In response to the extreme cold climate conditions in Songbei, SynVista implemented several measures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the energy storage station. Components such as door panels, sealing strips, and gaskets were made from low-temperature resistant materials, while key electrical components and insulating materials strictly met low-temperature application requirements. Additionally, temperature controllers, electric heaters, and supporting fans were installed in critical areas to ensure system stability even in extreme environments down to -40°C.

This energy storage station utilizes lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, capable of sustained discharge for no less than 2 hours at rated power. It primarily aims to smooth and track new energy generation output, enhance renewable energy utilization, and provide auxiliary services such as peak shaving and frequency regulation to the grid. As a wind and solar complementary storage project, this station will effectively improve the stability and reliability of local new energy projects, significantly reducing wind and solar curtailment. Through intelligent regulation of the energy storage system, it maximizes the use of renewable energy and further enhances overall energy efficiency.
